• This last year our family went through something hard. I looked everywhere for what I wanted and couldn't find it so I created this little devotional that we did a few times. I was great for validation, acknowledgement, learning and communication. There are multiple games and prompts. Each activity could be it's own lesson and used in multiple ways. It includes: *Raindrop Pictures & Word Feeling Recognition *Printable Quote on Recovery Suggestions *M&M Feelings Discussion Game *Cloud of Control Game to recognize things you can and can't control Again, this really helped our family get through something hard and become prepared for another trial down the road. This can be adapted to all ages.  And because I feel that this lesson is so important I want to make sure that it is free for those who need it like we did.  Please leave me a review or message me if this helped your family in any way! Enjoy!

  • We usually get burnt out at the end of the school year for practicing. So each year during the last nine weeks we do this piano practicing incentive. If they fill their root beer float then they can invite their friends over for an end of the year root beer float party. If they only get a few steps they get ketchup instead of root beer and if they only get a few more steps they don't get the ice cream.  You'll see when you download it.  It was a really fun game for the kids.  I hope you enjoy it! It has saved us for years!
  • I came home once from a date night and my son had tried to convince my babysitter that his bedroom was in the toy room. I decided it was time for babysitting notes to let EVERYONE know what our rules are. I have loved this babysitting info sheet for our family and it is a piece of mind leaving the information that every babysitter no matter their knowledge has the tools for an emergency. We also haven't had any more acting out by my son now that the family rules are written down for the babysitter to point out! I hope you enjoy this printable! I also usual include a page of family and medical information and child first aid information.
  • Older Than Dirt Party Printables. Includes 2 worksheets that are so fun and 10 signs. Printables would go great with a construction theme as well.
  • I typed up this printable for our family night the other night and it was a huge hit so I though I'd share. I looked up our last month's spending and wrote down a price next to each bill. Everyone guessed and it was hilarious to see what the kids said. It was good for them to get a grip on exactly how much is spent each month on things they don't even think about. Then we went through the list to determine and understand needs vs wants. Then I had them go to their room and write down needs and wants in their room. Finally you can end with the fun scavenger hunt.  Split up into two teams and race to find needs and wants. This is an EDITABLE word document download with a PDF, so make it your own with the bills and worksheet items! The second page goes over monthly budgeting and has a challenge to find something to "use up, wear out, or do without" which is my husbands motto! Enjoy!

For the game: Print off a few pages of the game and have everyone fill out random What if statements in the what if boxes.  Then have them fill out the then statements that unrelated to the what if statements they just filled out.  Put the what if statements in a bowl and the then statements in a bowl.  Go around the room and have each person grab and read a what if statement and grab a then statement and read it.
